Since 2009, hundreds of people have read my book, Searching For You: Ideas About Healthy Relationships, and have told me how helpful it was to them.  I have been humbled by their positive feedback.  My book is about the components of healthy relationships, not just intimate relationships, but all kinds of relationships, such as those with family, friends, roommates, and coworkers.  It combines the power of positive thinking with taking a considered approach to all of the relationships in your life.  Topics include honesty, boundaries, self-respect, communication, balance, and spirituality.  This empowering book has helped people to see the potential within us to transform our relationships, and thereby our lives, by examining the most important common denominator in all of our relationships: ourselves.

Caring about yourself means caring enough to do what you really want, not just anything at all.  By choosing to reflect on what might truly fulfill you, you can discover what brings you happiness and energy.  Carefully consider your desires, prepare a plan, take action, and make something happen.  It is possible to do this for yourself, and some goals might require extensive planning.  But, no one else can do as great a job at taking care of you as you can.  By listening to yourself, you can discover all that is inside you.
